spread of the virus....He sounded very intelligent and knowledgeable. He touched a number of bases, and said he had sought help from experts from a number of areas. He had on other leaders of the state with information that they had and the contacts that they had made. Most important, it was clear that he had done his homework and gotten significant information on this subject and made it also clear that the purpose of the rules he was trying to put into effect was simple: to save lives, and stop the spread of the virus. He did sound as though he cared deeply about people and what is happening and the deaths and illness in Illinois. What else is there to say?

Very down to earth. Very community minded. They usually focus on healthcare, education, and the arts.

So proud that I voted for him.
Only other comment: Ive watched these press conferences almost daily, and I do get a little kick out of the contrast between Governor Pritzger (a shall we say large and hefty figure) and the diminutive (but no less smart and powerful) Mayor Lightfoot. We need a little giggle these days.

but I am SO GLAD we have him and not Rauner. He's really stepped up. Good to know there's real leadership on the state and city levels at least, even if we don't have it federally.
