For information, from GEICO:

'Protecting the well-being of our employees, customers, and community has and will always be our top priority. Our team understands the concern and uncertainty caused by coronavirus (COVID-19). We're here to help. While this situation hasn't been easy on anyone, we remain committed to fulfilling our promise of serving you.

To better assist those impacted by the crisis, we are pausing cancellation of coverage due to non-payment and policy expiration, effective immediately. This pause will remain in effect through April 30, 2020. The ongoing situation impacts everyone, and we want our policyholders to have some peace of mind knowing we'll be there when they need us most. We're also prepared to offer maximum flexibility, including special payment plans to those who need it once normal billing operations are scheduled to resume.'

They have always been a good to me. When I had a horrible car wreck in may '11 they were right there to cover everything...including the $6200 telephone pole that I destroyed!
Long story short I lost control of my Plymouth Neon on a two lane Kansas highway, flew thru a ditch and then smashed a telephone pole to bits, and then flipped and rolled the car several times, busted my ribcage into rubble, spent several months recovering.
On top of this my rates are still under $500 a year (I live in a very rural area and don't drive much)

Good company.

A C-19 email that actually says something that is useful.

The last week or so, I've gotten all kinds of mealy-mouthed seminar-speak crap sent to me by the companies I've done business with.
