... the "other side" of some story. They are exactly what the phrase "alternative facts" suggests: Made up shit; bogus crap; lies.

Facts are facts, which is to say they are truth. So there really is no "alternative" to them. But Republicans seem to think that truth is optional.

Anyhow, the media should clearly identify, in real time, when Trump or other Republicans are lying. It's not just a public service in normal times, but could literally be a lifesaver in the current situation.
