Some people who watch Fox actually believe what they hear, but plenty of them only watch because the prefer to hear what they want to hear, knowing full well that "it ain't necessarily so."
They don't want any inconvenience or restrictions in their lives, so they prefer to be told there aren't any, and there won't be any. They then hope to dodge the bullets when they start flying.
Well, this time, Unca Donald won't save them, and he won't help them if they get sick. He won't get them test kits, he won't get them medical care if they get sick, and he won't try to help them prevent getting infected. They SORTA know this, but they don't WANT to know this.
Illogical as it may seem to us, they will continue to watch Fox Noise, and will believe with their last gasping dying breath that China, "liberals," and George Soros are at fault, and anyway, it's God calling them home. Send a few dollars to help us spread the good word before you lose consciousness for the last time, woncha please?
How do we deal with nation-within-a-nation populated by millions of people who not only accept this as the natural order of things, but actually advocate it? These are people who will stand in front of a firing squad, a target pinned to their hearts, convinced by Fox "News" that God will arrange for all shooters to miss.

However, he is not a believer, just a propagandist. You can count on his taking every precaution available to him.

(13,537 posts)were forced to admit they had been lying all along and that it is a national emergency? By then, hoarders were mobbing the stores, and cases were breaking out all over. I bet we will hear about some real hardship stories. Of course a lot of FOX "News" viewers won't admit it. I'd also bet that they were among the worst of the hoarders if they got the chance.
