(3,131 posts)Kits have to be ordered, distributed, used and results generated. Any of those steps can be mismanaged.
Remember those pallets of water found months after Maria.
Tracking any other number is telling only part of the story. Useful maybe to figure out where the bottleneck is but tests are meaningless until you actually get results.
Dazzling with meaningless bullshit is a classic symptom of hiding bungling.
Trump has never achieved anything honest. Hes made a career skimming money off of fraudulent deals. He doesnt think in terms of how to get things done. He only cares what it looks like.
In other words exactly the wrong person to run this crisis

(15,805 posts)There are more than 327 million people in the US. Divided, that's only 200K per state. Given that some of the hardest hit states have large populations, like New York with over 19 million people, and California with 39 million, states need more than a measly 10 million.
