Besides SHITLER, some of the governors sound like doofuses showboating

Before I get schooled in an ugly way, I'd better say here that I get the public safety threat we are facing.

So day after day we're seeing a parade of politicians in close virtual proximity to themselves such that comparisons of them are in our faces as to how intelligent they are or not, how sincerely they come across or not, how effective they are or not, etc. And some of them look like deer in the headlights and some look like they're having the time of their political lives in being able to be in the spotlight and deliver a show-stopper song and dance performing "leadership". For those last, it's the moment they've been waiting for, the reason they went into politics, some of them in weak governor states where they didn't have much to do before this. "I signed an Order, I signed an Order, I signed an Order!1"

What set me off here was the governor of NJ, and he's a Dem, saying (maybe the clip was days ago) that he had just signed the Order keeping only Essentials of everything open. This sounded a little like old news by this point and Martha RADDITZ asked him, specifically, what after the different events of the past few weeks was it *NOW* that had moved him to take this action. He dodged the question and claimed that he in NJ had been on top of things "SINCE JANUARY" and had dealt with all the different stages of things and then went on and on about the list of what we've heard a brazilian times (wash, stay, distance, etc.). The question was, what NOW got him to move rather than BEFORE. He said something about how "A NURSE" was the first NURSE to be the top Health officer anywhere - sounding like he was saying, a *real* nurse, a *lowly* nurse. RADDITZ didn't challenge his dodging. He then went into a CHURCHILLian flight of rhetoric, almost the "fight on the beaches" speech and all the elemental places, that we would not give up and we would "DIE TRYING" ----------- what?!1

I seldom attack states or regions, but he sounded like Chris CHRISTIE - blustering, showboating, deflecting - which makes me wonder whether it's a NJ thing. (Here comes trouble.) But in my defense, I've noticed long ago that lots of *BIG* personalities and stars come from NJ: Springfield (not to associate him with CHRISTIE who "loves" him), Sinatra, Kelly RIPA, Piscopo, the Jersey Shore whatevers, and countless others of authenticity and INauthenticity.

I'll prolly end up Self-Deleting this. It's just that even in this early stage of cabin fever, some things are wearing thin.

and operating under conflicting goals and hidden motive like the Covfefe in Chief.

I've been reading WWII history this week and and the boners the Allies, the Axis and the Russians pulled were freaking astounding. And they all had fought wars - lots of them and recently, too.

This Convid19 is something completely out of our experience in the this country since the Flu of 1918.

Right now I trust most governors more than I do the Executive Fed.

fellow I had never heard of before. I never asked that no boners happen. I started out with the disclaimer that I "get" the big threat. And I didn't say that all of the governors were duds or that I trusted the Feds (especially SHITLER) more.

I guess, if I keep the thread open, somewhere down the line my point will be honed to perfection - although I'll say that I bent over backwards to make it clear and bring a little original take to things.

Stay safe, my friend.
