Stunning study from Bandy X Lee at Yale - Democrats life; Republicans death

She's the forensic psychiatrist that thinks Trump is dangerously unstable, but this study goes back 110 years and shows that under Democratic presidents, violent death rates decline while under Republican presidents the violent death rates goes UP.

Here is her original tweet:

I did a study that showed consistently, over 110 years, Republican presidencies increase violent death rates, while Democratic presidencies decrease them. Same with economic variables. Ordinarily, we would label one disease and the other health.

Here is a thread with more detail

Whatever you call it, capturing the narrative or framing the debate or marketing, our side is far behind the 8-ball. And I don't see any evidence that this will change. We need a national campaign to challenge the GOPs claim that they are the party of family values, of personal and fiscal responsibility, the party of God and guns, the party that is truly American. Our side has let them get away with these claims for too long.

And, I don't know of anything that can be done about that. Not in a country with first amendment rights.

and challenge the message of hate that blankets rural America. Even if they have to do it at a loss. It would have been money better spent than running for president.

Allocate 500 kHz - 1700 kHz to radiolocation services. We need a backup to satellite based GPS.

You can say whatever your want per the first amendment, but the US government still controls radio frequency allocation

The wrong choice reflects the unhappy choices that we humans can consistantly make.

Like a women is attracted to the shiney object occasionally referred to as a "dandy".

Too late we learn that our best mate shines in entirely different way.

But we learn the lesson well.

There's probably more, 9-11 took out a lot of people, all because Bush chose to ignore his daily briefing.

And then Katrina, although that was just a lack of caring caused by a natural disaster.

Sen Grassley IS the Death Panels he so often spoke about during the ACA debates.

would not be considered "violent" deaths, I don't think - I think she's talking about murder and similar violent deaths. Murder, suicide, mass shootings, etc

And while they weren't extreme violent deaths I'm sure they would think otherwise.

Several Katrina deaths were by violence. A lot of shootings that occurred during that time.
