Never, in my life, have fresh air and sunshine felt so healing

I just finished a noon time 'tour of the estate', talked with a neighbor, marveled at Spring growth, listened to the birds and, since yard waste collection starts in 2 weeks, I made mental notes of where to start clearing. Now for a cup of tea, and Mystery Science Theater. As soon as my mood starts to dip, again, I'm heading back outside.

As soon as it warms up a bit, I'm headed outside. A little sunshine makes a huge difference.

Normally I'm happy to never go outside. But it's somehow different when it's not by choice.

We're going out for daily walks, something I was never keen on before. But I'm actually enjoying them.

Strange for me....

Our little family of 3 is on the road with the boat to the Gates of The Mountains for the day. We will practice our social distancing while soaking up sunshine.

...that bringing people outdoors when the weather permitted improved their health and, if infected, their chances of survival.

And even watching the ridiculous programming on ESPN: The Ocho didn't help things. Getting out and taking my dog for a walk did, and driving around town also did.

I'm also really enjoying their most recent iteration, "Rifftrax".

It's going to rain all week, maybe snow too, here in the Oregon mountains. Gotta catch those rays when they come!

Temperatures are on the rise, though, so it should soon be but a memory. However, rain, snow, or sunshine, I'm making it a point to get outside, at least twice a day.

We’ve had fog in the mornings and drizzle all day for the last three days in south Texas. It’s supposed to clear later today and I cannot wait to get the grime off the floors and get outside for a while.
