Stay at home order effective Midnight Monday. Only travel for essentials.

We have been doing that anyway.

We don't go out a lot. When restaurants were open we went every now and then. But today DeSwine called for shelter in place until April 6th for now. And only essential businesses to be open so I suppose there won't be ANY restaurants open.

He commented on how much food they provide for people. Still just pickup and delivery. The property management business my son works for will not be closing. That one I can’t figure out.

But I'm glad to hear that restaurants drive thrus can stay open. Saturday my youngest granddaughter will be 10. Her favorite thing is going to D.Q. to get a vanilla cone.

Happy 10th birthday to her!! My oldest grandson just turned 13 this past Thursday. It wasn’t a very fun day for him to become a teenager. Since no gatherings-my daughter was going to take him and 1friend to Hocking Hills to go hiking but it was rainy and nasty so they didn’t go. I sure hope you can get some yummy DQ Dairy Queen on Saturday!! (My fave is a twisty cone with sparkles!)

Same for them but he's in grad school and is waiting to see what will happen at regular schools. He had to go to a school for the semester to get experience in his field. He has his own apartment and the lease is not up until June. He says he will decide soon if he's going to stay in the there or go back on campus.

The streets of Ohio’s cities will be much quieter Tuesday morning if the state’s businesses and residents abide by new orders issued Sunday by Governor Mike DeWine.

The governor and Ohio Director of Health Dr. Amy Acton issued a “stay-at-home” health order that will go into effect at 11:59 p.m. Monday.

We are a rural economy based on forest products, which is not on the essential busi esses list. My conservative estimate is at least 50% unemployment starting next week. There will be tremendous hardship. It's easy to say just shut everything down. I honestly wonder if it will be worth it.

Our bold GOP governor is taking decisive action to stop this pandemic! He is banning reusable grocery bags throughout the state! Why is it anytime a republican takes action it is bad for the environment?
