They run a day or weekend once in a while with odd events. I believe ESPN Ocho is available through their ap all the time.
They had trolley driver skills event on about 2 hours ago. Before that was competitive eating.

ESPN is using it's famous April Fool's tradition based off the movie Dodge Ball to keep eyes and interest, even if it's just for amusement.
Sports fans need their sports. Even if it's just a Sunday afternoon cherry pit spitting contest from 2007.
