As Peter Alexander's question showed, Trump cannot even be asked to console people, because the question implies that he failed.
What will Trump do in the presidential debate when asked about his CDC-cuts and firing the pandemic response-team?
What will he say when asked about that replacement for the ACA he promised?
What will he say when asked about the republican lawsuit going on in SCOTUS right now that would destroy the ACA for good and which conveniently got scheduled by Chief Justice Roberts to be decided after the election?
What will he say when asked about the 4-6% economic growth he promised?
What will he say when asked about the national debt he promised to reduce to zero within 8 years?
What will he say when asked about infrastructure-week aka the thing that never happened because of Stormy?
What will he say when asked about the kids the ICE has literally lost and who will never see their parents again?
What will he say when asked about his promise to never go golfing?
What will he say when asked why the visitor-logs at the WH and at Mar-a-Lago are a secret?
What will he say when asked about the US military-base in Syria he handed over to Russia?
What will he say when asked about his track-record as a corruption-fighter, from floating to legalize bribery in 2018, to nepotism, to overbilling the Secret Service, to persecutions of white-collar crimes being at an all-time low, to his lawyer Cohen being in jail for financial crimes, to his other lawyer Giuliani being investigated for financial crimes?
Trump is unable to perform the basic leadership task of consoling and reassuring people. Does anyone think he will be able to answer basic questions about his track-record without throwing a whiny, bitchy hissy-fit?
He will lament about the mean media and then skip the other debates, bragging how he's denying the glory of his presence to the media.

Looking at all of your very valid questions, I cannot imagine him surviving even one debate with sensible moderators. Let's sic Rachel on him!!!
