If they want to show highlights of important stuff fine, but they air these for 2 hours live every day and it’s essentially the same thing over and over.

he still insists on boring the hell out of everyone, and treating us all to his glorious visage, all the same. He never has anything truthful to tell Americans, and he certainly hasn't any compassion or empathy to share either. So why carry him each and every day when we could be watching something informational, like The Weather Channel?

Poor baby can't do his campaign rallies any more, soooo to reinforce the egomaniacs daily narcissistic needs, he goes on National TV as a substitute. He says a few bullshit claims of his about the Virus, then the rest of it is FREE political campaign shit broadcast through out the entire media, not just Fox News. He is always behind a desk or podium so we can't see his teenie little weenie hard on that he gets from self aggrandizing himself.......

and cut over to CBS and ABC to see if their evening news program was on. No dice.

So, I went back to NBC, and in the information section about the program were the words "Little Big Shots". Yes, normally the 7:00 PM Sunday program, but seeing those words, right underneath the Dotard and Mother's Boy was amusing!

If they want, they could show clips on regular news shows - because they are news, though not in a good way - but I hate it that they're giving him air time just to feed his ego, which is hungering for the Nuremberg rallies he can't have.

if we could get Trump into some kind of a "Reverse Truman Show." That would be where instead of in The Truman Show where he didn't know everyone was watching but they were, we need a situation where Trump thinks everyone is watching but they're not.

So, put in on stage with a bunch of cameras that aren't actually broadcasting to anything other than a closed circuit linkup to his televisions. Build a fake Twitter where he can see his own tweets and a bunch of automated replies but nobody else actually sees them. Basically put him in an endless house of mirrors and don't tell him.

Everyone would be better off if he wasn't seen or heard in public during this whole thing.

Just reinforcing his sense of self worth. He is not talking to you or me, he is talking to himself.

You can help him by not watching, not listening, not reading.

Go do something useful. Go check your garden, or something.

there are still many Americans who are not online and depend on the local evening broadcasts when there are emergencies going on and depend on the 6:00 local and 6:30 evening network news. My local ABC affiliate finally cutaway to begin the ABC evening news at about 6:35 when they realized he was not wrapping up and had nothing newsworthy to say.

for a copy of his speech before he gives it, examine it for anything new, then decide if it is worth airing or not?

By all means point your cameras at him. No need to turn them on.

Or if networks are desperate for news fillers, just record and trim out the word salad from any worthwhile bits?

Not much air space in a newsreader saying 'The President spoke for 2 hours today but didn't say anything new.'
