I didn't vote for Jared Polis in the primaries, but of course did in the general, but I sure am proud to have him as my governor.

Honestly I'm not sure that's the focus anymore. I think the medical response is key now. A lot of people are staying home and there is food on the shelves of our grocery stores.

I also am so pleased that he doesn't constantly repeat himself and make snide comments like our so-called POTUS.
I also voted for Cary Kennedy in the primary. She would have made a fantastic governor too.

(Personal/historical note: When he (Pena) was running for mayor, he and his campaign manager used to frequent the White Spot I worked at. He always ate a chef salad. )

(6,354 posts)Not at all unusual to see the Fire or Police Chief... the District Atty... the Mayor...Red Miller used to come in after taping his weekly TV show. He always sat at Annie's counter and Annie (70yo) would always rag on him for calls she didn't like.
