If you have not already read

Generations: The History of America's Future 1584 to 2069 or The Fourth Turning, What the Cycles of History Tell Us About America's Next Rendezvous with Destiny, both by William Strauss and Neil Howe get ahold of them ASAP. Read them and report back.

first, because it carefully lays out their entire thesis. It's a pretty hefty book. My hardback copy comes in at some 463 pages of text.

By reading that first you get a thorough and complete understanding of their entire theory.

However, you could just read The Fourth Turning which does carefully explain their theory and looks at how they think the next fifty or so years from when they wrote it will play out. It came out in 1997. It comes in at 338 pages in my paperback version.

They did somewhat refine their theory between the two books, so just reading the second one will be good.
