that the Senate had the option of splitting the coronavirus stimulus bill into two bills: one bill addressing the needs of American workers, healthcare providers, and cities and states trying to cope with the crisis and another bill to bail out corporations. That way they could pass the one to help Americans immediately, and THEN wage the battle over corporate bailouts.

Nancy, Chuck, and the rest of the Dems should demand that the bills be split RIGHT NOW and then when the Republicans refuse to split the bill (which they will, of course) Nancy and Chuck should do a primetime news conference to say that it's the Republicans who are blocking the stimulus bill by refusing to split it. And no blinking! Get 'em Nancy and Chuck! You've got truth and justice on your side!

Maybe they have already done this and I'm just unaware of it. Been trying to limit my TV news watching today so that I can bring my anxiety level down a notch or two.
