Conservative talk show host Michael Savage said yesterday that Congress should impeach President Obama over his handling of unaccompanied minors crossing the southern border, saying that the president wants America to be “invaded by Third Worlders who are diseased.”

During her stop on Wednesday’s edition of “Faith & Liberty,” Rep. Michele Bachmann not only outlined her inflammatory anti-gay conspiracy theories and reasons why she supports impeaching President Obama, but also weighed in on the increase in unaccompanied minors crossing the southern border.

“People from Yemen, Iran, Iraq and other terrorist nations are making their way up through America’s southern border because they see that it’s a green light, they can easily get in,” the Minnesota Republican warned. “Not only people with potentially terrorist activities, but also very dangerous weapons are going to cross our border in addition to very dangerous drugs, and also life-threatening diseases, potentially including Ebola and other diseases like that.”

The congresswoman argued that the House should move to defund the executive branch and impeach Homeland Security secretary Jeh Johnson over the “invasion” of child migrants, baselessly asserting that the children will bring diseases into the country and undermine the nation.

Ann Vandersteel, president of Bill Mitchell’s YourVoice America network, appeared on Mitchell’s program last night, where she suggested that the recent death of conservative commentator Bre Payton could have been prevented by President Trump’s proposed border wall.

Stefan Molyneux, the far-right host of the “Free Domain Radio” podcast and its corresponding channel on YouTube, told listeners that he believed the mega-hit Netflix show “Stranger Things” is actually a veiled allegory about mass migration.

“The aliens can walk through walls. There is no border. And they build tunnels. In the tunnels there are bodies and diseases,” Molyneux said. “This is the death count of aliens crossing borders and the fact that they bring diseases with them.”

Well, no closed border is going to stop a pandemic if the pandemic is already here and the administration is mismanaging the response. No closed border is going to stop a pandemic if it gets here on regular air traffic. And no closed border is going to stop a pandemic if some "very fine people" seek to weaponize it.

So hey, this is what we should say to right-wingers on any subject pertaining to public health... "Stop. Shut up. Thanks."
