(11,690 posts)What we are doing now is not a "cure". It is a treatment to try to mitigate the damage done when that asshole failed in his duties. If he would have acted back in January, when he knew there was a major problem brewing then we would not be where we are today.
Fuck his "cure is worse than the disease" HE is the damn disease.

You learn to draw a line that says, this bad and no further.
Not that I think that the ambassador from Russia understands that...

(11,953 posts)That's the argument being made. Not that there's really any evidence to support that. They are extrapolating (but without numbers) from the fact that things like poverty and depression are factors that shorten life, so yes, the things we are doing to protect ourselves from the virus will have some negative health effects of their own.
