(34,105 posts)to take anything with the word chloroquine in it that is all on you. As far as listening to Trump? That is just as dumb and that is on you. They took chlorquine phosphate that she used on her Koi fish. Yup, whatta plan.
Correct dose of the correct medicine will not kill you. There are, of course, a few cases that will but that is usually because of misuse or drug interaction or just the odd case and that is true of anything you might ingest. Being stupid and listening to Trump talk medical will kill you.
500mg once a week was the dose for malaria. Thousands of GI's took it. Still, I am just a poster on the Internet, I would not listen to me either. Just my story.

(34,105 posts)I am still stuck in the olden days when drugs were actually tested in groups for years not just thrown out for us to be the test subjects.
My husband is a retired physician and I am a retired critical care nurse. Back from the days before drugs were made, given cutesy names and dumped on an unsuspecting public. We have made it a part of our decisions to ask for older drugs rather than the newer drugs for this reason.
Thank you. That would not apply to this drug in question but you are exactly right about what you have corrected me on.
