Is Trump trying to eradicate TV network news and make his voice the only voice?

Has anyone else noticed that lately, Trump is scheduling his pressers to preempt the news on the major TV networks?

Sunday, he preempted all the networks for his presser at 5:30 PM Eastern Time. I am sure NBC had gone through a lot of effort to prepare comprehensive coverage of the COVID 19 pandemic. Many of their reporters are working from home and they are struggling to do their jobs. But, Sunday, it was all wiped away by Trump’s presser. CBS was smart enough to go back to regular programming a 7:00 for their “60 minutes” program and their own COVID coverage.

On Monday, Trump again preempted programming just before 5:30 PM Eastern. Fortunately, NBC wised up and returned to their regular programming, and the evening news at 5:30.

It looks like Trump wants to make his voice the only voice concerning COVID 19 issues.

That’s how totalitarian regimes operate, and I’m sure Trump has no intention of turning us into a dictatorship with him as permanent head of state.

It is clear that there is NO FEDERAL response plan at all, just a shitheel trying to control a narrative that he does not understand and is incapable of internalizing. Fuck him...he has no real purpose in saving lives...

** It is like a re-election Nazi Rally, except the networks pay for it, it does not cost him one red penny.

** It is a TV ratings game for him. Dobbs, Hannity, Judge Jeannie, and Carlson get to see how a TV master plays the airwaves to score big, really big, bigly big ratings.

** With all the experts behind him and this babble babble fest he hopes to erase his initial fucked up shit show response, make people forget all that, then fabricate and lie about what a good job team trDumpie is doing now.

It is working, this con man knows how to play the media game. His political favor-ability numbers are stable and improving.

Besides he gets a hard on when ever he sees his face on the television, and inflates his ego to the point of burst. Some say this brings upon him the warm glow of self ejaculation too.

About all I see out of Joe Biden these days are press releases.

Trump had been doing these briefings earlier in the day because he thought his great oratorical assurances (lies) would cause big afternoon rallies on Wall Street. But he was actually causing big afternoon drops.

So that's another reason he moved them to a later time, after the stock market has closed for the day.
