Wall Street firms are all telecommuting with a zero contact rule in place. They won't return soon.

.

Buildings are in lock down, only gaining building access with senior management approval.

Even then, no two people are to come in contact with one another to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

There is no way these firms are sending employees back to work until the coast is clear.

You know when it's safe to send people back to work? When all of these firms send their employees back.

It's up today, but Trump hasn't held his daily pep rally yet.

They won’t return to face-to-face work until it’s safe.

Many of them surely live in communities that are isolated from the “riff-raff” who generate their wealth too, like absentee slave owners dependent on cruel overseers to manage their operations.

to slink into their hidey-holes and stay there. Surely they've socked away enough commission income from selling the bogus Trump bump for the last three and a half years.

I’m an engineer and we’ll also stay working from home until it’s safe.

It occurred to me that herd immunity is an interesting term. Maybe the thinking is let the masses go out and get herd immunity.

It’s a different more cynical way of thinking about the “get back to normal” talk. You guys go out and build up immunity first. Make it safe for rich people and make it snappy.
