Ever occurred to you that if the Retrumplican economic policies of the past 40 YRs worked

Why would we need a bailout?

A profound lesson from this crisis that must not be forgotten is that 60-70% of our fellow Americans are just one disaster away from starvation and financial ruin.

We are going to need a massive New Deal to recover from this.

Let's hope the next time we don't allow them to slowly strip it to the bone like they have for the past 80 years.

workers' salaries to prevent mass firings.

These policies have left us fundamentally weak and vulnerable as a nation, with more than half the country living on the edge during good times and living with tremendous fear and suffering during this crisis.

What I don't understand is the failure of pundits, dem leaders, journalists, analysts to effectively counter this gop myth over the last 40 years. Something having to do with weaponized think tanks, peoples' willingness to believe in some kind of benevolent royalty class, the power of hate and polarization in the hands of the gop which is willing to go lower and lower every cycle, effective marketing strategies by one side and not the other, and unfortunately just enough elected dems who also live in the world of the 1% so that the better intentions of the rest of the dems get thwarted time after time.

Works for them. If the market is perfect and giving doctorates in trickle down economics, why do they keep reaching into our pockets?
The first two things I remember Poppy Bush doing was burning his family history in the national archives and pushing us to free up the banks from Roosevelt’s Restrictions. A friend in Texas told me his CPA Suggested investing in an SNL. Said it was a license to steal
