Trump needs to understand for him to say he wants the economy back open on Easter—a day that remembers Jesus who challenged oppression & cared for the poor—while he has fought against the poor, against health care, etc. is hypocrisy.

Instead, Mr. President, what Jesus did—care for the poor, the sick, the homeless, children, immigrants, low wage workers—this is the Easter and resurrection America needs.

But I think I have far more in common with Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II than with Trump. Easter is a spring metaphor about focusing gon the rebirth and regift of life - not about crass money-making.
