Rev. Sharpton had me nearly spit out my coffee today on Morning Joe...

He characterized Trump's "it'll be over by Easter" as a "premature Resurrection."

Nobody on set was heard laughing, but I am still laughing...

I guess I have an untidy mind. So be it.

Learned from his time in jail--Don't serve the time; make the time serve you. Use the time-out to become better, not bitter.

you have to carry the cross."

His little homily today on MJ, brief as it was, I thought was perfect. He delivered a teeny Easter message, which I, a non-believer, could find reassuring...

Trump's push to use the malaria medication for COVID-19 treatment is a case of premature innoculation.

I'll leave now. I do understand now is not time for levity, but uncomfortable laughs are laughs nonetheless.

It’s not the same as laughing at the dead and dying. It even has a name. Black humor. It’s a psychological release that intermittently releases the mind and brain of hopelessness in the face of forces beyond our control.

Definition of Black Humor
Black humor is a literary device used in novels and plays to discuss taboo subjects while adding an element of comedy. Cambridge dictionary defines it as a non-serious way of treating or dealing with serious subjects. It is often used to present any serious, gruesome or painful incidents lightly. The writers use it as a tool to explore serious issues, inciting serious thoughts and discomfort in the audience.

When asked why he told jokes during such serious times, he answered, "I'm too old to cry; so I must laugh."

"an untidy mind" That's a keeper.

My favorite YT vid this week. It gets hilarious toward the end.
