Social Security? Nothing about

corporations receiving an a waiver by Washington for their obligation
to pay a 6.2% Social Security tax on the wages for employees?

And to not define an end of this tax cut they will
soon make permanent. While reducing Social Security
by 50% until they can reduce it to nothing.

Crickets? Really?

Is this not a direct attack on Social Security?

Aren't the bastards rich enough?

They want to be able to force us to do whatever they demand and without resistance while they live in luxury, the rest of us starve and freeze to death if not from a virus or something because we are all disposable like toilet paper.

remove — during a period when a company’s, including a small company’s, revenues are likely suffering — one incentive for laying workers off.

The other way a company can keep from paying the FICA tax is to fire you and say good luck.

I like this approach, better. But some here seem to prefer the alternative.

Based on a draft form of the bill, qualifying companies would be able delay their share of Social Security payroll taxes to the IRS. They would be delayed until Jan. 1, 2021, with 50% owed by the end of 2021 and the other half due Dec. 31, 2022. Companies’ share of the Medicare payroll tax would still be due as usual,

If this is the arrangement, you can bet your ass those corporations will try to make that tax cut PERMANENT.

If they can fulfill their own prophecy that Social Security won’t be there for young people, they can divide and conquer some more.
