The con got many otherwise reasonable people. Of course racism is a central element though a lot of people have a racist bent that doesn’t overwhelm their ability to think. Unfortunately for everY one of them there are deep seated racist that will never change.

they need to keep being reminded that WHO THEY VOTE FOR *MATTERS*

and FUCK anyone who voted for that fascist piece of shit, HE *NEVER* HID WHO HE WAS

and FUCK the kudos for repukes who are FINALLY "seeing the light" ONLY BECAUSE IT AFFECTS THEM

and by the way, I guarantee you that after a Democrat has made the hard choices to CLEAN UP THIS MESS, repuke voters will go RIGHT BACK TO VOTING FOR CONSERVATIVE ASSHOLES.

FUCK THEM ALL

under Trump. And if they’ve waited this long it’s because they know he’s no longer of any use to them.

...the pandemic has exposed red don's deficiencies for all to see. My guess is that a lot of people who thought having a game show host play at being president was all a big fat joke with no downside are now seeing that it's actually a matter of life and death.

Will allow an election where he loses? He will use the pandemic to skirt the election somehow, enrich himself, and keep out of jail. He’s a snake. Albeit, a clumsy and stupid snake. But clever enough to have lasted as long as he has as nothing but a con man.

I’ve said multiple times I don’t talk politics at work and do not allow my team to do so. It destroys moral and is not what we are paid to do.

But last week my boss asked me if I saw the disastrous Oval Office address he gave. I said yeah. But nothing more. Then he unloaded on him. And I learned he did not vote for president last time. Left it blank. But this time he was voting for Biden. Then I broke my rule and told him I was a democrat which I could tell surprised him. The reason I told him was to let him see that someone he respects is a democrat. He told me he might register independent. I left it at that.

Then earlier this week a peer who works for the same boss did the exact same thing. And this dude voted for trump and was pretty much in. Not a religious guy so not as bad as some. Anyway he just carried on about how crazy he is and is going to get our guys killed. As in our older employees. Again, I violated my rules and told him I was a liberal democrat. He actually said ‘no shit’. Now this is a relatively new manager I have been kind of a mentor to. He the said he is voting for Biden. Because at least he is not crazy.

Now, both of these guys are only changing their mind because they are worried. Both of them have wives in high risk groups. But hell, if they vote Democratic I don’t care about their motivation. And most people vote for their self interest anyway. Maybe more people will understand voting Democratic is in all our best interest.

It’s been a weird few weeks.
