That cliche he appropriated somewhere, something like: Cure can't be worse than the problems. Whatever.

But it almost sounded like it made sense (not in the way he wanted, but anyway) in the way of not *instantly* on the face of everything he spouts being absurd, ignorant, clownish, (keep the list going here).

So for the next 24 hours there was a frenzy all over the yak fests - THROWN FOR A LOOP about what to do about almost having to take something he said seriously!1 This is quite separate from refuting his premise with factual data. The shock was just that it almost made sense.
