It's kind of hard to sit down with their heads up their asses that way. Besides, that might have put pressure on the 2 brain cells they have and caused them to actually think.
Republicans don't care about human lives. Of course, they didn't sit down with Obama or listen to him. They hate him. They planned from the get-go to do the opposite of anything he would do, and yes, that includes things that would save human lives and protect Americans.
Republicans don't care about protecting human life. When are people going to accept that fact and understand it as fact and move forward with eyes wide open?
Yes, I share your anger and want them to be held accountable, but have you seen just how much Republicans have gotten away with in the last few decades? They will get by with this too. Republicans are NEVER held accountable, but if a Democrat so much as gets caught getting a blow job, half the party turns on itself (our own party, I mean) to wag fingers, and we go down, over stupid stuff. I still say we should have let Hillary handle Bill's sex thing (it really was their business, not ours to argue over) and let the rest of us go after the Republicans. But, no, half the party turned on the other half and down we went. Next thing we knew, we had stupid Bush to deal with for 8 years. That's eight years of my life wasted and ruined because our own party could not get over it and move forward to fight the other side, the actual enemies, the Republicans, for crying out loud. It has been that way ever since. Just Republicans doing whatever they want, dancing circles around us, while we stand around in a circular firing squad and argue about a blow job that happened decades ago. And we are still doing that on a host of issues to this day, while Republicans do whatever the fuck they want and get away with it.

Yeah, they get by with being selfish, greedy, homophobic, racist, misogynist, anti-human life pieces of shit, because when Democrats get in power, Democrats are too lenient on them and let them get away with it. We are too busy fighting each other and they KNOW THAT. So, they do whatever they want and get away with it. They know we will chastise our own to hell and back and go after each other harder than we will ever go after them. That is the secret to the whole thing. It is the elephant in the room we are not supposed to mention. Meanwhile, the Republicans see it, know it, USE IT, and get away with far worse than some stupid ass blow job.
That is just how lopsided "justice" is when we are so busy lambasting each other and shaming each other over stupid crap that we don't ever stop to hold Republicans accountable for the seriously bad shit they do. They laugh at us and do whatever they want while we infight.
The "high road" is fucking killing us, literally. I wish more Democrats were willing to jump down in the muck and fight them without placing so many extra rules on ourselves to hold the moral high ground. The moral high ground doesn't pay the bills. It doesn't solve hate directed at so many minorities. It doesn't solve discrimination. It doesn't solve any of this country's major problems. It has never solved anything. It might feel good, but it doesn't hold the Republicans accountable. It doesn't stop the cycle of them abusing power for their own selfishness. It keeps the country stagnating with this repetitive cycle of Republicans doing whatever they want and getting away with it.
I'm glad I didn't hold my breath waiting for any Democrat to come along and kick their asses in my lifetime. The Republicans need to pay for their crimes once in a while, but I'm not holding my breath, because of that stupid moral high ground leniency BS that will always let them get away with their BS. I won't see it happen in my lifetime. I know that now.
