(19,949 posts)always opposed Trump, and is a founding member of the Lincoln project which is dedicated to bringing Trump down. He'll never be a Democrat, but he's very much on the same side as the Democrats in wanting to take Trump down, while stating that the GOP must die.
That's good enough.

(19,949 posts)Key Swing states with hard hitting ads, ads which are a particular skill of Wilson's. You should check out the devastating ad he did against Roy Moore, as an example. Democrats alone can't beat Trump, it's going to take a broad coalition of Dems, Independents and moderate Republicans. It would be short sighted to believe otherwise.

(19,949 posts)which means gridlock in Washington yet again. There's a chance to win all three branches while giving the Republicans an almighty beating in November. Thankfully the Democratic primary voters seem to believe the same strategy, rather than polarising politics.

(19,949 posts)What Trump has gotten away with, so far. Apart from appointing shit judges, he has achieved little. If you think that's the way a Democratic president should behave, good luck with that.

(43,246 posts)then what is you feeling on Stein and the greenies impact on 2016?
To be logically consistent, you surely must discount any notion of a negative impact emanating from Jill the Putin shill on the outcome.
welcome to DU btw

(6,226 posts)relatively sane folks too. I agree about Rick Wilson and trump. He's been at it from the begging. The Lincoln Project is viable & focused.

(90,616 posts)...who are now and have been for years EX-Republicans. They speak against Trump now, and spoke against him when he was running in 2015-16.
You don't have to like their personal political history, but never doubt their patriotism or well-founded disgust at Trump and Trumpists.

(7,715 posts)But I think your ideas make no sense. There are TONS of Republicans that are appalled at Trump and his utter incompetency, particularly with handling the Trump Virus. I am calling it that in the US to remember the "man" who singlehandedly is responsible for spreading it.
I cannot understand why you think, for example, the Lincoln Project is not legitimate. Do you think the ads posted by another DUer are subliminal ads telling people to actually vote for Trump? They are devastating pieces.
There are still many people who were formerly Republicans who were decent folks, and I have worked and been friends with many people. So many of them are disgusted with Trump, and this was prior to The Trump Virus.
You can keep on saying what you're saying, but your posts are growing increasingly illogical.
Flame away if you wish.

(612 posts)I have some questions. Do you disagree with what Rick Wilson tweeted? Or do you simply like to argue and distract from the main point of the post? Whether Rick is a Republican, an immigrant, or a Russian troll, I absolutely agree with what he wrote. Do you? What's your purpose?
