The BernieBots were Naderites back then, and their 'both parties are exactly the same' jive hadn't worn quite as thin as it is now.

The Democratic party failed to stay the course in following recount protocol.

The USSC wrongly awarded the election to GWB. The USSC signaled that they knew they had gone wrong in stopping the recount and awarding the election to GWB in that not only did they decide the election but also stated that the action set no precedent for the future.

Blaming 2000 on Nader and retroactively on "BernieBots" is tiring to read here and damaging to the Democratic party and all we supposedly believe as core values. Gore's pick of Liberman as VP and the less than support of Gore by some of the Democratic party was less than helpful in the 2000 election.

Also Kerry could well of actually won 2008 given some of the election specifics. At the time Kerry was probably the favorite POTUS candidate of my voting life that began in 1971.

I'm just tired of the third party morons pissing in the drinking water and claiming they're the 'real' progressives.

I'm about as far left on the spectrum as one can get without falling off. But I understand the value and the necessity of voting for the Democratic candidate instead of casting a 'protest' vote that is going to throw the election to the hard-right fuckwit the Repubs always nominate.

The last exit polls published @ 1:00 AM on CNN showed that

OH Female voters 51 to 47% Kerry
OH Male voters 48 to 47.5% Kerry

these troublesome Republicans can't get a legitimate majority due to their evil and stupid programs, so of course they cheat.

Repeatedly! Now they align with Russia and we can't fight them because they cheat. We are not a democracy anymore. We are a nation of slaves.

If the cake was already baked for the financial crisis, which it likely was, it would have been difficult for Kerry to avoid being a one-term president.

Romney or McCain may have become president in 2008, and there is a good chance we would be in Obama’s first or second term today.

Like 2001, 2004 was another stolen election.

If congress had done its duty in 2001 and tossed the unlawfully appointed FL electors (unlawful because the election was not completed as required by FL law, and Bush v. Gore didn't change that), we would have been reelecting president Gore.

When you allow the voice of the people to be silenced, you pay a steep price.

The stolen election of 2001 was a major turning point. Our congress allowed the American soul to be crushed by five black-robed traitors.
