Pennsylvania Congressman Mike Kelly says he has tested positive for coronavirus
U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, a Republican from Butler County, announced Friday afternoon that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
Kelly’s office said he began experiencing flu-like symptoms earlier this week, and he went to a drive-through testing site at Butler Memorial Hospital. The test results were returned Friday afternoon.
“My symptoms remain mild, and I will serve the 16th district from home until I fully recover,” Kelly, 71, said in a statement, adding that his staff is teleworking and available to assist constituents.
