Stimulus Check - Reverse Supply Side Economics

Just for conversation, what would happen if people just put their Stimulus Check in the bank and didn't spend it. I've thought about this because not that I don't want to help my neighbors, it's just that I loathe Orange Julius so much. Another solution my wife and I talked about is donating it to democratic candidates running this fall.

and I do plan to sit on some of it for future use.

Perhaps some small vanity purchases just because I never get to, but not much. I may donate some of it to orgs I support.
