Front Line Health Care workers Required to Do COVID Tests Without PPE

Scary story out of Dallas. Urgent care sent employee in with face mask only to do a COVID test on a patient who then coughed in her face. Employer told patient to get back to work. Meaning who knows how many other patients and employees could now catch the disease if the patient did indeed have COVID (and it is not easy to get tested in North Texas right now).

I had my test done at a facility that knew what it was doing. The tech donned a new gown that fastened at the neck and wrists, had double gloves, mask and a face shield. That is how you do it.

Please, if you go to get tested and the tech comes in without these items, demand that the tech's safety be protected.

BTW, read down the article to see what the physician who runs the place wrote about a PA in his employee in an email.

It read, “Going to kill that disrespectful slut,’’ the report stated.
