(5,122 posts)Limiting one to a customer. Nobody should be giving money to these rip offs trying to take advantage of this crisis.

(64,827 posts)It says 24 count, but the picture is clearly a package of 6.
If it's 24 rolls, that price is high, but not nuts if it includes shipping.
If it's only 6, then it's outrageous.
No way to know if the picture or the count text is in error.

(6,038 posts)on a Thursday afternoon. Kroger brand but it works just like Charmin.
I'm thinking these people will soon be on the hook with a room full of TP as the stores become better supplied. Kroger, Costco and Meijer and perhaps others will not return this. Serves their sorry ass right.

I am urging everyone, when you see people doing this, report it - to Amazon, eBay or wherever. I can see prices going up a little due to demand but people who HOARDED this stuff, stuffed it into their garages or storage sheds when this situation got started -- so they could sell it on Amazon or eBay at jacked-up prices - THEY are taking advantage of a bad situation and making it WORSE for everyone.
I have found websites and mailing lists these people frequent for the purpose of tracking what stuff to hoard in a national emergency (depending on what the emergency is). When the Coronavirus came to the US, they started hoarding and then started selling disinfectants, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning and disinfecting supplies, etc at drastically jacked-up prices on platforms like eBay and Amazon. BEFORE anyone got a chance to stop them. These cretins LIVE for this kind of crap. They are Trump-style "businesspeople" who wait like vultures for a pandemic, epidemic, war or whatever and then they POUNCE on the stores and suppliers to grab all the stuff they will know will be in high demand -- in order to sell it at drastically INCREASED prices. And they get away with (and a LOT of money in profits) before they are stopped, which is finally happening now.
So...REPORT it when you see it. Let's not give these Trump University-style "businesspeople" anywhere to hide.
