New York Knicks owner, MSG chairman James Dolan has coronavirus

Dolan is the first U.S. major pro sports owner known to have tested positive for the virus. He also owns the NHL's New York Rangers, along with other venues like Radio City Music Hall, The Hulu Theatre and The Chicago Theatre.

“The Madison Square Garden Company Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jim Dolan has tested positive for coronavirus,” the Knicks' statement said. “He has been in self-isolation and is experiencing little to no symptoms. He continues to oversee business operations.”

Pity all the common people with lots of symptoms can't get a test.

Why are all these rich people going public that they are able to get tested with little or no symptoms?
Trying to rub it in to us common folk?
I can't get a test because I don't have all the symptoms required, so I am at home possibly infecting my entire family.
Pisses me off.

and those who have always felt they are above the law so rules and recommendations about not moving about don't apply to them. For example, look at the party for the 40 year old in Westport Connecticut.

https://www.thehour.com/news/article/Coronavirus-update-Number-of-Westport-party-15154139.php

The party this month that is thought to have accelerated the local spread of the novel coronavirus could have been attended by 100 or more guests , town officials said Tuesday, despite original reports of only 40 attendees.

The party has attracted local and national attention — in a Monday story in the New York Times, it was called “Party Zero” — as the number of confirmed coronavirus cases locally, regionally and nationally has skyrocketed in the last week. As of Tuesday, Westport has the most cases — 79 with at least 20 believed to be connected with the party — of any municipality in Connecticut.

“We were originally told 40, but it became apparent that there were more probably in the 100 range,” said Sara Harris, operations director for the town. “And there are rumors that there were more.”

Every time you read about some pol, rich asshole or celebrity, they've been tested but are experiencing little or no symptoms.
