despite ample news reports and intelligence briefings. Besides limiting travel of non-US-residents from China he did nothing. He did not institute an emergency response and set up disease tracking which could have severely limited the spread, nor begin to stockpile equipment such as ventilators for a worst case scenario until very recently. He had fired the pandemic response team in the White House two years before, so even had he wanted to respond, it would have been more difficult.

has taken hold in the public's consciousness. No amount of BS, propaganda or revisionism by Trump will erase this image.
