Quebec would never go for it unless French remained an "official language" and, I doubt even then they would go for it as their national influence/power would be much diminished.

...an interesting historical irony. Both Georges--Washington and the Third--would have a good laugh...

officially 1982 when Liberal PM P.E.Trudeau (PM Justin Trudeau's father) went to London to take the Constitution back to Canada.

Her face is printed on the 20-dollar bills and there are Lieutenant-Governors representing her in Ottawa and in each province (they mostly do nothing else than being present at different protocol events and foreign visits).

That's about it.

I wish people understood sometimes we’re just as stupid as the US. On March 10th, the Lynn Valley Care Centre in North Van sent a letter to family members of residents because a resident died of COVID-19. In the letter they parroted Health Canada’s “the risk to Canadians is very low”. On March 10th.

So you know what? We screwed up too.

And in BC only people hospitalized, first responders, and health care workers are getting tested. Everyone else is sitting on hold with 811, then getting pawned off on their GP’s line, and then back to 811 to be told to stay home and presume infection if they have symptoms.

Korea and Germany did it right. Canada and the US messed up and continue to mess up.

Lock him up.

Single-Payer Healthcare + Testing everyone with symptoms, travelers or not. That's why they have the most cases of all the provinces.

4,840 cases
22 deaths
84 recovered
