I am always happy to hear people that voted for Trump say they won't vote for him this time

HOWEVER, I'm always wondering what did you see then? He has not changed. He is exactly who he showed himself to be before you voted for him. The following is from an article on Rawstory. Those 2 paragraphs stood out to me. I hate to pick on this voter but,

He's appalled now? He does not act like commander in chief? What made you think he would act like a commander in chief? Was it when he said he would grab women by their private parts? Or was it when he was mocking war heroes or the disabled? Was it when he was using grade school insults for members of his own political party? Was it when he disrespected John McCain? Was it when he was lying repeatedly? Was it when he was asking Russia for help?

Molloy backed Trump in 2016, but he has become disillusioned over time and has been appalled by the president’s handling of the coronavirus crisis.

“He’s constantly sending mixed messages, and that’s totally unacceptable,” Molloy said. “It’s been the story of his administration. His behavior, his tweets — he just does not act like a commander in chief, and it’s gotten even worse with this crisis.”

this fall. Many of them may say what they want others to believe, or they are angry or scared now, but will “forgive” him by Nov.

How anyone didn’t see how unfit he was and still voted for him.

I guess a small number of them thought he’d act “more Presidential” once in office, but even that is a lame excuse, since he already showed us what his character was like for YEARS.

In my circle, people who voted for him knew him from his TV show and they thought he was a successful self-made billionaire and would fix things with the government from his experience.

Now they know better and most of them are regretting voting for him.

None of these people were full-blown MAGA - just ordinary working people who don't pay attention to politics with a simplistic reason for why they voted for Trump.

I however, still lay some responsibilities of all of these deaths and suffering on those who supported him.

Call me an unforgiving b***h but that is how I feel.

I had somebody accuse me just yesterday of being partisan.
Bet your ass.
I am exponentially more partisan than I've ever been.
More so than with Dubya, even.
And Nixon..? MUCH more partisan that at that time. Nixon was almost quaint in his crimes and almost human in his behavior.
trump always was a racist and a misogynist and a xenophobe.
They wanted him... they got him.
No fucking slack for ANY Republican.
Fuck 'em.
