He doeesn't understand anything

Last edited Tue Mar 31, 2020, 10:21 AM - Edit history (1)

He doesn't understand how government works. How procurement works or health services. He blathers out statements with no idea how it can be done. Or cares how or if it will be done. And he has pretty much filled his Cabinet with people who also don't understand government or the departments they run. Lobbyists and TV personalities do not make good administrators.
But not surprising, since he didn't understand basic business or finance, that is why he kept going bankrupt.

It is beyond time to make the criteria for government leadership more stringent than the PHD directors, judges, scientists, historians and economists that we require extensive educations, internships and licenses in order to get an entry level job in our government. The president, congress and their staffs must be required to have PHD’s in Government, Law, history, and all facets of science.
Wisdom is so rare in our leadership today.

He sought the office to enrich himself. Viewing his actions through that lens - his actions make horrible sense.

5. Yeah, there's a difference between smart and cunning, eh?

The cunning can be dangerous. Sherlock Holmes or Prof. Moriarty.

It really wouldn't matter if he did understand the office. He's just using it and us. Some days it makes me and some days it's just . Like today when I saw the tents going up in the East Meadow near Mt. Sinai.

Dubya at least surrounded himself with some very sharp folks. Some were evil - Cheney i:e Darth Vader, but Dubya at least surrounded himself with serious people that were experts at what they did. Even if I disagreed with their politics, these were not idiots. Trump has surrounded himself with a D rate crew.
