President Donald Trump introduced Minnesota entrepreneur Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow who has campaigned for Trump’s re-election. Lindell said he has dedicated 75% of his company’s manufacturing capacity to producing cotton face masks and plans to produce 50,000 per day.

"Thank you, Mr. President, for your call to action, which has empowered companies like MyPillow to help our nation win this invisible war,” Lindell said at the White House coronavirus press briefing.

Then, Lindell said he was reading a statement he wrote “off the cuff,” praising Trump and calling on Americans to turn to God during the coronavirus crisis.

“God gave us grace on Nov. 8, 2016, to change the course we were on,” Lindell said. “God had been taken out of our schools and lives… I encourage you to use this time at home to get back in the word, read our Bibles and spend time with our families."
