The damage caused by incompetent tRump is far worse than we realize.
World health experts have known the time of the Black Plague that infectious diseases primarily originate in China. What has been learned in the last few decades is why. It is connected to the agricultural traditions of rural China. Viruses live in poultry and other animals for decades undetected. Eventually they make the jump to humans living in close proximity to the animals, often indirectly by making the jump to pigs and then to people. The jump from pigs to people is by way of an easy mutation. If a new virus makes the jump and is confided to one village or one region it can be stopped.
Understanding this, and having learned from SARS, H1N1, and Ebola the Obama set up an office to monitor fledgling outbreaks around the world so we could protect ourselves here in America and avoided a pandemic. MF45 as you know shut that operation down. That agency included medical people on the ground in traditional areas where viruses originate, China, Africa, and elsewhere. We Americans did not have to depend on what a foreign governments was telling us or hiding. We had our own medical intelligence people getting the information from the Chinese government. The Chinese current national medical system is worse than ours, for profit medicine on steroids. They may not have known how bad the outbreak was until it was well established. MF45 got rid of our independent sources of information/medical intelligence in China.
The current situation is bad for us but in the coming months and years it is going to be catastrophic for third world nations and war zones with large refugee camps. We are facing 200,000 deaths. World wide it is going to be billions of deaths. Our medical agents in China could have caught this early and with a competent president and administration could saved the entire world from this disaster.
