Scrabble
Backgammon
The Sailors' Game (a board game, sailboat race around the world, kind of Trivial Pursuit-like)
Jenga (a great drinking game!)
Putt-putt (golf game)
Drop The Needle (Pick a theme then take turns selecting a song matching the theme to play on the stereo)

No computer games!

And bunches of table top miniatures ready to deploy onto the battlefield. Did Wings of Glory last week, this week I’ve played Depths of Courage “The Attack on Gibraltar” and later in the week it will be B-17 Queen of The Skies.

Just started playing online via chess.com. Got my ass kicked yesterday! I'm gonna study & practice some before I put my ego on the line again.

No, really.

I'm not a gamer, but discovered this game a few months ago and got hooked. It really works out the brain!

You can play it on your smartphone.

Highly, highly recommend.

I was up to level 100 when I screwed up my operating system, and had to start from scratch. Trying to get back that far up the mountain again!

add to those several tv shows and my days are always busy. I also like to look out the window and think about all the things I wish I could be doing.

Well, the electricity went out for a couple of hours, so we lit candles, poured two glasses of wine, and got out the Scrabble. We used to play every night after we put the kids to bed. But 20 years later, and after adjusting to digital speeds, it seemed r e a l l y s l o w!

I won anyway.
