9. I've been trying to cast Dr. Fauci for awhile now

I’ve been casting the epic Trump miniseries for awhile now. I can’t use Martin Freeman because he’s just too good a fit as Biden. My first choice would be Austin Pendleton, but I already have him down to play Bernie. So right now, I’m leaning toward Brad Dourif. He has a long history of playing crazy people, so the idea of him playing the only sane guy in the room is just too fun.

14. He would be a good Bernie, seriously!

However, I stand by Martin Freeman as Fauci. He’s the right size and facial structure, so I cannot see him as Biden who is tall. Jason Sudekis would be a good Biden, although he played him on SNL. I’m not trying to cast it as comedy. It’s serious and I think it should resonate as a piece of history.

Edit: Brad Dourif would also be a good Biden.
