...after the Trump admin first alters the collected data from each state prior to "official announcement".

I can't imagine Cuomo letting trump release the wrong numbers and say nothing. Same for many other governors.

It's possible for the Trump admin to report truthful Blue State numbers, while altering just the Red State numbers. Or the Red State numbers could be altered/under-reported at the state level.
