I think it probable that Trump with enablers holds on to the POTUS through some manner, although the nature of a continued POTUS by Trump is outside Constitutional parameters.
We continue to have national events that are beyond the pale: Nixon sabotaging Vietnam peace talks followed by Watergate, Reagan and Iran Contra, the 2000 POTUS election that was unjustly awarded by the USSC (in a stated non-precedent setting decision), GWB failing o protect regards 9-11 followed by lying into the Iraq War, Katrina, and financial collapse, and Trump elected POTUS; all these events have occurred with no consequences to the perpetuators.
CV19 is also beyond the pale, potentially if not probably the worse national shock since WWII. Yet Trump has enablers in the media and Congress.
A resignation is also the only thing I also want to hear from Trump. But something we can no more imagine than CV19 as of January 2020 is probably more likely now. The nation is going to be fortunate to emerge from the pandemic with civil rights and material abundance anywhere close to what existed prior. I do not like this unfortunate situation at all.
