We need another DECAMERON

The Decameron was a collection of stories by Giovanni Boccaccio. It was written 1347-1353, during the Plague. The 100 stories are narrated by a group of 10 people who escape the plague by moving out to the Italian countryside. Some of the stories are social commentaries, like some dealing with the hypocrisy of the Catholic church.
With the Coronavirus, we now need another Decameron. There are plenty of ripe topics to write about, including the behavior of the rich, right wing demagoguery, blind allegiance to sociopaths, the mendacity of fundamentalists, and corporate greed. Somebody with talent has a golden opportunity!

From a personal pov.
How I learned to detect them and reject them and shut down the damage they do by stopping pretending they are like people like us. And deciding not to treat narcissists with kindness anymore.
I am very open that I hate narcissitic people and wish they'd all die off along with sociopaths and authoritarians.

I have been surrounded by them all my life, and no. They are not “people” in the sense that you and I understand.

Is decent people that just have no clue being nice to them believing thier bullshit. The people say why be so harsh they're human beings.

I say they are monsters in human suits

That stupid solipsism/ belief that they insist on that all people are good at heart has done so much damage.

Some people are actually bad .

Or otherwise conning people into taking care of them. I admit that I fell for it. It took me a long time to recognize what I was dealing with.

I encourage you to write about it. I find writing about my experiences to be therapeutic.

Edited for clarity.
