Typically, we'd be looking for voting abnormalities, comparing notes, etc. The attack prevented any relevant information from coming to light. It was coordinated and very specific.

I just hope Skinner and the gang have triple redundancies in place this time.

Seriously, on that ill-fated night of election 2016, I checked in here mid-afternoon to DU and heard that blasphemy straight from the gates of hell.

That's what tipped me off to what was happening when our friends gathered at our home, champagne on ice, and I started seeing the returns here on the west coast in the late afternoon / early evening.

I buggered out...feeling like I would faint or die... Asked my husband to take over for me. Went to bed. Listened to the gaiety below in our TV room get quieter and quieter as the evening wore on...with a pillow around my ears to mute it. Maybe should have replaced the pillow somewhere else on my head.
