I would like to see all national elections put under complete Federal control.
I believe that the races for President/VP and Senators and Reps should all be taken from the hands of the States.
There should be one nation wide voting system for those offices. Mail-in voting would be ideal for this. The GOP would hate this idea, as larger voter turnout never works for them. That's their problem that they caused. Let the States handle their own offices.

1. I'm still hopping to have mail-invoting in Nov. but after DT did his little tirade on it yesterday,
I'm thinking it's going to be a tough struggle to get it to happen. I couldnot believe he said there's a lot of cheating with mail0in voting and he thinks everyone should appear in person with their ID and them proudly cast your vote!

3. Trump says what he's told to say by his masters.
Trump says what the right wing cabal tells him to say. He's a fucking puppet.
Cut off the hands of those pulling the strings he dangles from. |

2. It would require a Constitutional Amendment.
Which in the current political environment (and that of the foreseeable future) has zero chance of happening.

5. With someone as unscrupulous as trDump I am not sure if you would want the federal government to ...
... have total control over election. Look how the EPA was neutered to the benefit of corps and industry.
If trDump had total control over elections American elections would look like Russian "elections." Putin always wins. And those who run against Putin get poisoned, shot, or flying lessons from the fourth floor up minus the parachute |

6. No thanks...
The "Help America Vote Act", was enough for me. I don't want my state government being told how to run our elections by people I have never, and will never vote for.

7. I wasn't suuggesting that the Fedss get involved, but that each Staate would opt for mail-in voting,
I already received an email from the State of Ga. that all registered voters would be getting an application for an absentee ballot in the mail & that the June primary would be a mail-in ballot only, I'm suggesting all States opt for that for Nov.

10. So, you'd put those elections in the hands of the Trump administration?
What could go wrong with that, do you think?
Please think longer about your ideas before proposing them, OK? |

11. This is an absolutely terrible idea.
Our patchwork electoral system allows plenty of opportunities for localized fraud and tampering, sometimes in key states or districts. But a federalized system would open the door for system-wide manipulation by a despot, an anti-democratic cabal, or foreign interlopers.
