Can I take a moment to say how grateful I am for all of you?

We agree, disagree and sometimes even fight, but in this dangerous time I want to make sure you all know how much it means for me to have to alive, healthy and around. Bless you all.

Likewise, I can't imagine how I would survive these days without DU.

DU has been an integral part of my life for close to 19 years (I joined in late summer, 2001). I've rarely gone more than a day without reading here.

I don't know whether being on DU keeps me sane or crazy - but I DO know it keeps more informed than anyone I know in the outside world.

So, my boundless gratitude to DU, too.

They're well thought out, and they stimulate discussion and learning. I think cabin fever is getting to a few of us, and I've noticed a bit more friction than I'm accustomed to here.

I like getting a lot of my news indirectly through here, and I find that it makes me a bit more of an authority when talking to others when I have most of my facts straight!
