Trump removes inspector general who was to oversee $2 trillion stimulus spending

President Trump has removed the chairman of the federal panel Congress created to oversee his administration’s management of the $2 trillion stimulus package.

Glenn Fine, who had been the acting Pentagon inspector general, was informed Monday that he was being replaced by Sean W. O’Donnell, currently the acting inspector general at the Environmental Protection Agency.

Fine is a career official who had served as acting Pentagon inspector general for four years and three months. Before that he was inspector general at the Department of Justice for 11 years.

The move, which was first reported by Politico, will be seen by some as another instance of the president chafing at independent oversight. On Friday, he notified Congress that he was removing Michael Atkinson as the inspector general of the intelligence community — a decision that was criticized as a response to Atkinson’s having alerted lawmakers to the existence of a whistleblower complaint about the president’s dealings with Ukraine. The matter ultimately led to the president’s impeachment.

I wonder at what point we will collectively realize that this accelerating Benito Party is an actual authoritarian dictatorship?

How much has to get gutted or replaced by sycophants? How much money has to be diverted into slush funds, (the wealthy are doing great in this, it seems and corps are being "welfare queens&quot ? Just how dysfunctional will the Trump Regime have to make things before it is evident?

This critical emergency is not only bad in the obvious ways, but is the kind of situation that allows for distractions to cover up actions and there are many afoot. It is opportunistic for totalitarians like the Trump Gang.

This is no longer a Presidency by my standards. I can't make believe even in the slightest with my eyes squinted anymore. This is what it looks like and, for the most part, it is really more obvious every day.

The firing of every single Trump appointee. Every Schedule C appointee, every other appointee, wherever located in the government, every cabinet secretary, every inspector general, every acting judge that hasn't been confirmed, every acting anything in every department. Anyone who needed Senate approval. And for those that can't be fired immediately, sideline them. Transfer them to the equivalent of the FBI field office in Butte. From the top to the bottom. From the Pentagon to the Intelligence Community to Education to HUD. Clear out your desk, hand in your badge, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. Every. Single. One. No holdovers. None.

Plus.

Fumigate the White House and the VP residence. I mean insects and shit. And don't say one word in either place before checking for any and all imaginable audio, video, etc. bugs. I mean the spying kind.

Thanks. I should have made the comparison.

One more thing, while I'm thinking about it.

Remove all fringe "news" organizations from the WH press corps. No exceptions. No apologies, no excuses. If you're nuts - OANN I'm looking at you - you're out.

The IG would have to be one of HIS picks. He may be stoopid, but he's street smart and knows who will be loyal.

Oh, yeah! Did you hear him say the other day that he has common sense? That one knocked me off my chair.

He (Mnuchin and Jared) must be ready to make their hits, unless they did it over the weekend.

And the medical supplies. Congress better hurry up because it’s going fast. I have not found a person that got a check or UE yet. Small businesses either Trump and gang want two more trillion and none of this money has Been accounted for. All the people making a killing off our misery need to be locked up. the rest are. lining their pockets. Yeah, we need a massive fumigation now.
