At this point, it is clear that Trump is not the problem. His supporters---the "aiders and

abettors"--- are the problem, every damned last one of them, from Barr and McConnell to the jackasses with the 4' x 6' "TRUMP 2020" signs in their front yards and the "Trump 2020, Fuck Your Feelings!" tee shirts.

Some are obscenely rich: some are penniless. Some are young; some are old. Male or female, fit or flabby, they ALL have one thing in common: they are haters.

Some "specialize" in hating certain groups or classes of people; some appear to hate everyone who is not one of them. But, whether they hate people of color or Jews or Muslims or gays or any they classify as "the others", in their necrotic minds, the hate justifies ANYTHING they do or say in order to win.

I believe we waste our time and hurt our cause each time we "work with" or cooperate with any Republican who has not specifically and publicly renounced Trump and Trumpism. And, for some, even that is not enough. McConnell, Nunes, Jordan, Barr and others like them should be told (quoting Cheney) to "go fuck themselves". Their participation in any future governmental endeavor should be reason enough to oppose it. Let the word go forth: like Trump, "Anything they touch dies!"

that are pretty much going to be open season on people like me in his second term. I hope he doesn't have a second term, but I know Republicans. They will steal it if they have to just to make sure he can declare open season on people like me in his lame duck second term.

Without an executive order of open season from him, some parts of government, not my local government, but maybe at the district level, might actually do something to people like my neighbors who outright told me they get together and shoot in the neighborhood to practice for open season on people like me.

Yes, his supporters are a major problem, but without him, they would be too afraid to openly say something like that to a neighbor who isn't a Trump supporter like them. They would have to think twice before opening fire specifically on me. The key is getting away with it. Could they get away with it? You might think I am being outrageous, but it's Trump and his supporters. I wouldn't put it past them. Not.One.Bit. Trump fucking needs to go.

I do agree with everything else you said though. They do need to be told to "go fuck themselves." The Democrats need to stand up to them and not "work with" them, because they always slip in more hate provisions into everything. A bill can be about car insurance and they will try to work some anti-choice crap into even that. They even tried with this Covid-19 thing to do that. They are not to be trusted. Working with them is like working with Hitler. It's a stain no one should want, if they know history any at all. I know our leaders in our party know history. So, they should follow Pelosi's lead and stand right the fuck up to Trump and all in Congress who support him and his dirty tricks. I wish she would keep at it and run for president. I'd love to get to vote for someone with the courage and strength to stand up to a bully like Trump and bullies like his supporters.

Those supporters stroke his immense ego and in return he happily signs whatever they put in front of him.

If Trump croaked this very moment, his cult would simply find another hard right asshole to coalesce around. Perhaps DeSantis or Abbott in Texas.

A relative (who is to the right of Atiilla) responded thus when asked why he wasn't worried about Trump losing in November:

"Thanks to Trump we have so many young committed conservative judges on the bench now that liberals won't get anything done for at least the next 30 years or more and by then I'll be dead so I won't care what happens after that."
